Our commitment to the heart and soul of Rioja

Let us talk about the properties of the earth we are now standing on, which is loose, clayey, and sandy.

These fundamental elements of nature tell us much about the history of this land and remind us of Jovellanos. Our village of Navarette sits in beautiful countryside and the slopes of our vineyards once gave up their fertile clay to be made into to jars, pots, mugs, basins, or tubs. Later in the 18th century these superb hills were more famous for producing Rioja wine. The 10 hectares of Altos de Corral was not planted with tempranillo until 1980 and is now a well established and sought after treat among wine lovers.
